Luton Town have announced that the former rugby player Chris Bell will join the club in January as their new head of commercial.

The former England under-21 centre was forced to retire from his active career through injury in 2015 and has since spent the past four and a half years working for Wasps Rugby Football Club, initially as head of off-field development.

For the last two years, Bell has been the head of partnerships delivery at the rugby club as well as Wasps Netball and the Ricoh Arena.
