The money will be invested in different tech offerings over the next three years.

Liverpool FC will be investing £16 million in technology to improve the fan experience for the club's global audience.

According to BusinessCloud, Liverpool CEO Peter Moore said at an event held by the club that modern technology is vital in order to reach Liverpool supporters around the world.

"You can't reach out to 771 million people without technology," Moore said.
