The Spanish league had initially been directed to play behind closed doors for the next two weeks but has now been postponed entirely after Real Madrid were quarantined.

However, the decision could still be re-evaluated following the completions of the quarantines decreed.

LaLiga has been postponed for at least two match days, following Real Madrid being put in quarantine after a member of their basketball team on Thursday tested positive for the virus.

Despite working in different locations, all players from both the football and basketball team were subsequently sent home to self-isolate for 15 days.
