Kenyon and new consortium make a fresh bid for Newcastle

A Florida-based consortium, with the former Chelsea and Manchester United chief executive in charge, has offered Mike Ashley a package deal worth £300 million, according to the Daily Mail.
Kenyon, who earlier this year in collaboration with another group of investors failed at his first takeover attempt, would become the CEO of the club with the goal of becoming a top-ten side in England.
