Oliver Kahn will begin as a member of the board and then take over as both chairman and CEO from Karl-Heinz Rummenigge when his contract expires.

Legendary former Bayern München captain and goal warden Oliver Kahn has been appointed CEO of the club starting from 2022, the club announced.  

Kahn, now a businessman and entrepreneur, will begin as a member of the board on 1st January 2020 and then take over as both chairman and CEO from Karl-Heinz Rummenigge when his contract expires on 31st December 2021.
