Juventus out of US summer tour to avoid Ronaldo detainment in rape investigation

The organizers of the International Champions Cup have decided to keep Juventus out of this summer’s preseason tournament in the US to avoid Cristiano Ronaldo being detained by US authorities as part of a rape investigation, The New York Times reports.

Instead, the Italian club will take part in the Asian version of the cup, likely to be held in Singapore or China, and be joined there by Manchester United and Tottenham.
