The analyst company Vysyble says there is a direct correlation between economic profit and a club’s results on the pitch.

According to Vysyble, it would be possible to predict who will be relegated from the Premier League if the clubs' financials were made public before the end of the season.

Club owners are yet to fully understand the financial dynamics in football, says co-author.

There is a direct correlation between a Premier League club’s performance on and off the pitch.

This is the conclusion by analyst company Vysyble, who published a report titled We’re So Rich It’s Unbelievable!

The report highlights that what the authors call the "economic profit performance" of a Premier League club is linked to the club’s on-pitch performance.

This has made it possible for the company, given access to clubs' financial information, to predict who will be relegated from the Premier League before the end of the season.
