Analysis: Inter Milan are reported to be worth around €1 billion – looking at the numbers that valuation looks too high

Majority owners of FC Internazionale, Chinese Suning Holding are working on a fundraising move that should provide the Italian club with fresh liquidity.

Due-diligence process, led by advisors Goldman Sachs, is taking place and various media outlets believe that the total value of the club would be around €1 billion.

Off The Pitch have analysed the accounts of the club and used different valuation-methods to conclude it is hard to argue for such a high valuation of the Nerazzurri.

Speculation is mounting that British private equity investment fund BC Partners is closing in on a minority or a majority stake acquisition of FC Internazionale from Chinese Suning Group.

As close as he could without confirming the negotiations Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta said that “the owners are considering the opportunities in the interest of Inter and in respect of the history of the club.”
