According to the Daily Mail, insiders at Wembley consider commercial officer in the FA, Mark Bullingham, a serious contender for the job as new CEO.

While the FA are expected to look outside football – outgoing CEO Martin Glenn arrived with a strong CV as the former CEO of United Biscuits and PepsiCo UK and Ireland – Bullingham is believed to have cleared the first major hurdle in the selection process, the Daily Mail understands.

Prior to joining the FA in 2016, Bullingham was the CEO of a sports and entertainment marketing agency.
Bullingham is currently leading the FA commercial team as they seek a title sponsor for the England senior men's squad.
