Former British sports minister Tracey Crouch has delivered her long-awaited “fan led” review into football governance, delivering some of the most wide-reaching proposals for the reform of English football seen in a generation, including an independent regulator.
“The main recommendation is for a new Independent Regulator for English Football (IREF) established by an Act of Parliament, which will be focused upon specialist business regulation adapted to the football industry,”
