Hertha Berlin have issued a freeze on investment and spending to deal with the impact of the coronavirus crisis and are discussing a series of further cost-saving measures. 

The duration of the ongoing disruption is still difficult to determine, but serious financial implications are expected and many football clubs will have to make sacrifices to save their businesses.
