The 15,000 additional seats at Estadio da Luz help it to generate a greater volume of sound to achieve a higher Impact score than the RheinEnergieStadion. However, it is unable to use these extra seats to maximise their Experience or Revenue scores.

The ReinEnergieStadion is able to generate higher Revenue potential through a combination of its history, uniqueness and committed fanbase

Both Stadiums experience scores could be improved through additional investment in technology. For example understanding how people move within the stadium may aid them in bringing fans back to the stadiums safely.
