Global transfer spending reached new high in 2019

Getty Images | Portugal had the largest positive net balance in transfer spending, while England - unsurprisingly - had the largest negative net balance, new figures from FIFA shows.

The total spending in men's football reached $7.35 billion, a 5.8 per cent increase on 2018, according to FIFA's just-published Global Transfer Market Report.
