The presidium of the German Football League (DFL) has proposed postponing the season still further, at least until 30th April, due to recent developments regarding the coronavirus pandemic.

As with most football in Europe, the German football season had originally been postponed until 3rd April, but the DFL now looks sure to follow the Premier League, LaLiga and Serie A in extending the deferment.
