Former president of Argentina appointed chairman of FIFA Foundation

Mauricio Macri, who served as the president of Argentina from 2015 to 2019, has been appointed as chairman of the FIFA Foundation, which aims to promote positive social change through educational programmes.

Macri also formerly served as the president of Boca Juniors for a 12-year period.

The former Argentinian president, Mauricio Macri, has been appointed as executive chairman of the FIFA Foundation.

Macri served as the president of Argentina from 2015 to 2019 and was also the president of Boca Juniors for a 12-year period between 1995 and 2007.
