New research performed by Ampere Analysis has shown that football still has a lot of work to do in the world’s second most populous country.

While 90 per cent of Indian sports fans say they enjoy watching cricket, just 43 per cent feel the same way about football. Along with cricket, tennis and badminton are also more popular than football in India.
