Football club leaders are backing urgent demands to address racial injustice raised by the Black Lives Matters (BLM) movement.
Their comments come as Football Association chairman Greg Clarke has called for more diversity on the FA board, which has on it representatives from the Premier League and English Football League.
Despite a backlash in some quarters to a global surge in support for BLM following the death of American George Floyd in May, Derby County owner Mel Morris said he supported the movement’s catalyst for change in football.
