Financial Insights Birmingham City v Nottingham Forest

Birmingham v Nottingham Forest

Getty Images | Birmingham City have distanced themselves from the bottom three, while Nottingham Forest, sitting just two points behind West Brom, look to be genuine promotion candidates.

After a spell of five losses in six, Birmingham are three matches undefeated, though Forest enter the fixture with five wins from the last seven, drawing the other two.

Forest made five times that of Birmingham on player sales in the 2017/18 season, with profits of £10 million and £2 million, respectively.

While the Blues have distanced themselves from the bottom three, Forest, sitting just two points behind West Brom, look to be genuine promotion candidates.
