Financial head-to-head Villareal v Real Sociedad

Villareal have won five of the past ten corresponding fixtures with the last win being recorded in January, while Sociedad have won three with their last win coming in 2018.

The two clubs spent similarly on wages in the 2018/19 season with Villareal paying just €7.2 million (€71.2 million) more than Sociedad (€64 million).

In terms of turnover, however, Sociedad's of €74.1 million stood considerably lower than Villareal's of €122.7 million.
