Financial head-to-head Schalke 04 v Bayern Munich

It's been a season to forget for Schalke who lie bottom of the Bundesliga, but the club remain one of Germany's biggest financially with a turnover of €279.7 million (including transfer revenue) in the 2018/19 season.

Obviously, Bayern Munich still reign supreme with turnover of €660.1 million the same season, but not much separate the two sides in terms of EBITDA with Schalke's of €52.6 million just €3.2 million smaller than that of the Bavarians'.

On the bottom line, however, Bayern's pre-tax profit of €75.3 million is without comparison to Schalke's €23 million loss.
