With a Premier League title far out of reach and a two-year Champions League ban, Man City must go all in to salvage what has turned into a disappointing campaign for the club's Abu Dhabi owners.

Having overseen monumental growth over the past decade, Man City are not far from Real Madrid from a commercial point of view, with the Manchester club recording £227 million in commercial revenue last season compared to Madrid's £247 million.

Real Madrid had a 15-match unbeaten league run broken last weekend with a loss to Levante, while Manchester City lost three times in the corresponding Premier League period.
