Profitability is seemingly not a word in these two clubs' dictionaries. AC Milan recently revealed they lost €195 million; a figure surpassed by a few clubs in modern history – one of them being Inter who bested them in 2006/07 with a loss of €207 million

Despite being heavily loss making in the past, Inter have recently improved their sustainability and in the 2018/19 season recorded an EBITDA of €81.4 million. AC Milan, on the other hand, had an EBITDA of negative €60.3 million.
