On Monday, FIFA published the full text of the decision made by the FIFA Players' Status Committee on 25th September regarding the transfer of Emiliano Sala from Nantes to Cardiff.

In the verdict, FIFA said Cardiff would have 45 days to pay Nantes €6 million of Sala's transfer fee or risk being banned from registering new players for three consecutive transfer windows.

Cardiff could face being excluded from signing new players for three transfer windows if they fail to pay the first instalment of the late Emiliano Sala's transfer fee, the just-published text of September's decision shows.

On 25th September, the FIFA Players' Status Committee ruled Cardiff must pay Nantes the first instalment of the transfer fee for Emiliano Sala, corresponding to €6 million. Cardiff have since appealed the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
