Contracts should end when the current season ends under new FIFA guidelines.

FIFA has approved new guidelines proposing contracts should be extended until the end of the current season and that transfer windows affected by the suspension should be moved so as they fall between the end of the old season and the beginning of the new.

As football has been suspended and seasons across the world look likely to go beyond summer, pressure has been mounting on FIFA to implement new rulesets to remove confusion and prevent legal issues from arising.
