FA outlines post-Brexit transfer criteria for Premier League

Players from overseas wishing to join a Premier League club would be subject to points-based criteria under new regulations when Brexit is completed.
The FA has seemingly resisted plans to introduce a quota which would only allow clubs 13 non-homegrown players.
The English Football Association has outlined its post-Brexit transfer criteria for the Premier League, according to AP, in plans that would see overseas players wishing to join a Premier League club be subject to points-based criteria.
It was previously reported the FA wanted to reduce the maximum number of non-homegrown players allowed in a Premier League club squad - which consists of 25 players - from 17 to 13, in a bid to promote English talent, but such plans have seemingly been dismissed.
