The EFL are set to face a legal challenge from Bury FC following the club’s expulsion from League One.

On Tuesday the club became the first league member to be expelled from the Football League for 27 years after a takeover from C&N Sporting Risk collapsed shortly before a 5pm deadline imposed by the league expired.
