Everton’s front-of-shirt sponsor, betting company SportPesa, is denying it is going to shut down after facing problems with the Kenyan government.

The Betting Control and Licensing Board in Kenya reportedly ordered the company to shut down pay bills and short codes.

The Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB), which is responsible for regulating betting in the East African country, reportedly ordered the shutdown of the pay bills and short codes of 27 betting companies last week - including SportPesa.
