The EPL have appointed FIFA’s Director of TV, Josh Smith, to head up its media sales ahead of the start of the next round of TV rights negotiations.

Smith will take on the role of Global Head of Media Sales in October as the EPL gear up to talks ahead of the next rights deal, which will commence in 2022.
