Rams sign new manager: Dutchman Cocu delivered impressive results at home, but faced difficulties abroad

Derby have chosen Philip Cocu as their new manager, replacing Frank Lampard.
Cocu’s record is quite impressive but the Dutchman has little experience outside Holland.
A short term at Fenerbahce produced poorly compared to previous results.
On Friday the Rams confirmed that they have found their replacement after Frank Lampard signed with Chelsea. Philip Cocu, a former Barcelona midfielder, is the club’s new hope and has signed a four-year contract. Cocu has spent most of his management career in Holland, securing strong results for PSV Eindhoven for several years.
