Derby chairman praises his team as “phenomenal” ahead of £170 million game

Photo: Getty Images Derby County’s impressive comeback against Leeds United on Wednesday night really took the club’s chairman and owner, Mel Morris (left), through all emotions.

Either Aston Villa or Derby County will cash in at least £170 million from winning promotion to the Premier League.

The Play-Off Final is the game with the biggest financial prize in world football.

Derby County’s impressive comeback against Leeds United on Wednesday night really took the club’s chairman, Mel Morris, through all emotions. The Rams lost the first game 0-1 and after just 24 minutes in the second game, Leeds scored again. 

But one goal in the first half, just before the whistle, and three in the second half, fulfilled an astonishing comeback for Derby in the Play-Off semi-finals.
