Deloitte has not commented on the financial impact of cancelling the Serie A season now, a partner at the consulting firm told offthepitch.com, refuting reports by several Italian and international media outlets.

Last week it was widely reported that the firm had estimated the cost of voiding the Serie A season now to be €720 million, which could be reduced to €170 million by completing the season, but apparently the company made no such calculations, and published no such statements.
