Jeremy Corbyn has lashed out at "bad owners" - singling out Mike Ashley.

Corbyn wants to give supporters' trusts more power and demands increased funding for grassroots football from the Premier League teams.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has lashed out at "bad owners" such as Newcastle United's Mike Ashley and vowed to transform the way football is run.

Corbyn met with members of the "Ashley Out" campaign in Newcastle and shared his views, saying football clubs were, each in their own right, "more than just a club," according to the Times.
