Manchester City seemed to have lost the championship for a minute to Liverpool on the final matchday of the season, but a well-fought comeback turned things around and with the Premier League title won for the second consecutive year, Manchester City can look back at a successful year both on and off the pitch. 

Despite their triumph and presence in the Champions League in recent years, Manchester City have struggled to keep their profit on level with the rest of the "Big Six" clubs.
