Charlton’s potential new owner revealed as chairman of Cardiff

Mehmet Dalman, Cardiff City’s chairman, has been revealed as the person trying to buy Charlton Athletic.
The current owner has grown increasingly unpopular among fans as he has been trying to cut costs with the club losing money every year.
Cardiff City’s chairman, Mehmet Dalman, who is not an investor, is ready to leave the club as he is keen to own a club in his own right. The British ex-banker has been revealed as the potential new owner of Charlton Athletic, writes the Evening Standard.
The newspaper first reported of contact between Charlton and a potential new owner in March, when the then unknown buyer allegedly offered £30 million for the London club.
