Charlton’s owner slams EFL for "stupid system"

Charlton Athletic’s owner criticises the EFL for creating a "stupid system" that prevents club owners from being able to sell their clubs. 

Duchatelet, Charlton’s owner, thinks the eased FFP rules are to blame, as Championship clubs averaged operating losses of more than £15 million last season.

Roland Duchatelet’s ownership of Charlton Athletic is in many ways the definition of an unhappy marriage. Duchatelet is a very unpopular man amongst Addicks’ fans and he has been trying to sell the club for two years with no luck. 

Talking to talkSPORT, Duchatelet slams the EFL for creating a "stupid system" that fails club owners like himself with their governance of the Football League - or perhaps their lack of governance.
