Cardiff City's manager, Neil Harris, expects player salaries to drop due the coronavirus pandemic, whose financial implications will "reshape" the sport in the United Kingdom.

Lower-league clubs are being hit especially hard in terms of cash flow due to currently going without matchday income, on which they are heavily reliant, but Championship clubs especially were prior to the crisis already in financially unstable positions.
