Juventus executive wants Serie A to imitate the Premier League: Calls for more early kick-offs to help the club grow in Asia
26 August 2019

According to Juventus, the current match-scheduling differences favour the Premier League on the commercial markets of China and Southeast Asia.
More early kick-offs will maximise the Serie A clubs' chances for exposure in the region, the Italian club's CRO argues.
Giorgio Ricci, Juventus' chief revenue officer, urges the Serie A to schedule more early kick-offs.
This will help Juventus, and the other clubs of the Italian league, to maximise their chances of exposure in China and Southeast Asia, he argues - a region in which the clubs see great commercial potential.
"We have to find the right balance between domestic and global audiences," Ricci told BBC Sport.
"It is not just about the broadcasting times, it is also about the rights distribution and who is showing the games."
