Bury have been granted a 14-day extension to pay back smaller businesses after a winding-up petition was adjourned in the High Court, according to the BBC.

The verdict comes the day after the supporters' group Forever Bury announced it will not continue its legal fight to stop the winding-up petition brought on by Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs (HMRC).

That announcement was made after a prospective buyer for the club pulled out on Monday, having performed due diligence on the club's financial situation.
