Early Christmas present: Bristol owners provide club with cash injection

The owners of Bristol City have injected the club with £8.65 million raised via a share issue, a filing on Companies House show, as an early Christmas present to prepare the Robins for a potentially busy January transfer window.

The total amount raised via shares by the club's majority owners, husband and wife Steve and Maggie Lansdown, is now more than £125 million, according to the Bristol Post
