Brentford FC's new kit partnership with Umbro has got off to a flying start with the club selling a record number of replica shirts.

The Manchester-based kit supplier replaced Adidas ahead of this season in a deal running until 2023, with one of the kits in particular having been very well received by fans.

"It is fair to say that the away kit – the black and yellow one – has gone significantly better than our brown one of previous year," said Brentford CEO Jon Varney.
