Bolton sale back on track after block is amended

The court order awarded to would-be owner Laurence Bassini blocking a sale of the club has been amended.

The club’s administrators call for quick progress to secure the future of Bolton.

The court order blocking the sale of Bolton Wanderers has been amended to allow the sale to continue, the club said in a statement on Wednesday. 

English businessman Laurence Bassini was awarded the court order after his attempt to buy the club collapsed in May, the same month that Bolton went into administration.
