Bolton inches from finalising sale to consortium

Bolton Wanderers have confirmed that the consortium Football Ventures (Whites) is the preferred bidder for the acquisition of the club.

Football Ventures has provided proof of funds and signed the heads of terms, bringing the consortium to within inches of completing the deal.

After a prolonged period of confusion as to who would become Bolton’s new owner, the consortium Football Ventures is now just a few steps away from buying the club. 

Football Ventures made the highest offer by a substantial margin

In a statement the Trotters have confirmed that the four-strong group led by Sharon Brittan are the preferred bidder to take over the club.
