The Qatari broadcaster on Saturday did not show any Serie A matches in the 35 countries beIN has the rights.

beIN has accused the Serie A of supporting piracy by increasing its ties to Saudi Arabia, who was recently established to have failed to stop illegal broadcaster beoutQ from pirating sports coverage.

Qatari broadcaster beIN on Saturday left viewers of the Italian Serie A disappointed as it let screens in the 35 countries it has the rights go blank amid a dispute with the Italian top flight over an alleged failure to crack down on piracy streaming.

"No Serie A matches are being broadcast on beIN SPORTS entire global network. It would not be appropriate to comment further, other than to say our legal and public position has been consistent and well-documented for three years," a spokesman for the company said, according to Bloomberg.
