Bayern Munich partner with battery manufacturer

Bayern Munich have partnered with the German battery manufacturer VARTA AG in a sponsorship that will run for the next three years as the club continue to boost their commercial income.

Improving just slightly on the year before, Bayern reported a commercial income of €288 million for the 2018/19 season, but it is still among the highest in world football, only surpassed by Barcelona (€385.5 million), Real Madrid (€295.2 million), Manchester United (£275.1 million), and PSG, whose commercial income stood at €381.1 million in the 2017/18 season.
