Media: Bassini is back in the race to buy Bolton
12 June 2019
Laurence Bassini, the former Watford owner, is still in the mix to buy Bolton Wanderers.
A deal with Bassini previously collapsed when he failed to show proof of funds.
The former Wanderers owner, Ken Anderson, described Bassini’s behaviour as “very misleading.”
Bolton’s administration has asked five candidates to supply their final offer, which must also include both proof and source of funding, by 4pm on Wednesday 12th.
And, surprisingly, the former Watford owner, Laurence Bassini, is still in the mix to buy Wanderers, according to The Bolton News. The British businessman is confident he will be able to meet the criteria laid down by both the administrators and the EFL, The Bolton News understands.
