Premier League clubs borrow big to survive and thrive – Barclays is the preferred bank of EPL clubs.

Clubs ink bank loans to increase cashflow while investing in players and stadiums.

Barclays is the bank of choice among Premier League clubs taking out loans to enhance their business operations and pursue transfer targets.

Research by Offthepitch.com reveals that Brighton & Hove Albion, Burnley, Everton, Leicester City, Manchester City, Watford and Wolverhampton Wanderers have outstanding loans with the bank.

The British banking firm, title sponsor of the Premier League from 2001 to 2019, in March extended the sponsorship agreement through the 2021/22 season in a deal worth around £31.5 million.
