Barcelona project a world-record turnover of more than €1 billion

The club expect to break through the €1 billion barrier in the coming season, setting a new world record in the world of sports.

FC Barcelona presented a record turnover of €990 million for the 2018/19 season and a projected turnover of €1.047 billion for the 2019/20 season. This means the club will break through the €1 billion a year barrier earlier than expected and set a new turnover record in the world of sports, according to the club.

The Catalans' €990 million turnover for the 2018/19 season is an increase of eight per cent compared to the previous season. The club recorded a profit after tax of €5 million, which is the eighth consecutive year with a positive result.
