Aston Villa sign new partnership in pursuit of fixing huge decline in commercial income
21 May 2019
Aston Villa have announced signing a new kit deal and principal partnership with Italian sportswear company, Kappa.
The new deal is crucial for the club, which have experienced a marked decline in income since relegation a few years back.
The Villans have signed a new three-year agreement with Italian sportswear giant, Kappa. The deal makes Kappa the club’s principal partner for the 2019/20 season and will furthermore mean the club’s kits will be made by the Italian manufacturer until 2022.
“At the forefront of our decision was the key requirement to find a partner that would put design at the heart of the process and do justice to our famous claret and blue colours,” said Aston Villa’s chief commercial officer, Nicola Ibbetson, in a statement.
