Arsenal players holding out for wage deferral as pay cut is rejected

HB

PA Images | Arsenal's players, which last year cashed in wages of £231.7 million, represented by Hector Bellerin, would be willing to accept a wage deferral, with the club seemingly making a conciliatory comment on the ongoing discussions.

The club said in a statement their executive team has volunteered to waive more than a third of their earnings over the next 12 months.

Arsenal are not currently intending to use the government's furlough scheme.
