Anderson ready to pursue other options as Bassini’s takeover of Bolton drags on

Ken Anderson is ready to pursue alternatives to Laurence Bassini as Bolton Wanderers’ potential new owner if he fails to provide the necessary funding later today.

Bassini insists he has the funding and it is understood he will table a new business plan to the EFL this afternoon.

With players refusing to play until they are paid their overdue March wages, the EFL might punish Wanderers further if they fail to fulfil their remaining games.
